Compromise Agreement Advice in Reading
If you have been offered a compromise agreement (now known as a settlement agreement) or you expect to be offered one, we can help.
Please call us today to speak direct to a qualified solicitor without charge to discuss your situation.
Specialist employment solicitors at DPH Legal are experts at providing advice on these types of agreement. We are based in Reading and have advised individuals in Reading and throughout the county on hundreds of compromise agreements over a number of years.
What is a Compromise Agreement?
It is a legally binding agreement following the termination of your employment.
It usually provides for a severance payment by your employer, in return for which you warrant not to pursue any claim you may have to an Employment Tribunal. In order for the compromise agreement to be binding you will need to take advice from a qualified employment lawyer.
What does it cost?
In the vast majority of cases your employer will make a contribution towards your legal costs and these will cover our charges for advising on the compromise agreement in full. This means you pay us nothing. In any case, no extra costs are incurred by ourselves without your prior approval.
How quickly can we deal with it?
A qualified employment lawyer will provide advice on your compromise agreement on the same day we receive the agreement. This advice is given over the telephone or in a ‘face to face’ meeting at our offices, or at a location in or around Reading, whichever is most convenient to you.
Have you been offered a compromise agreement in connection with your employment? We have been successful at securing significant increases in pay outs for numerous clients on the sums offered under compromise agreements. See our Testimonials Page.
Any of our solicitors or barristers can advise you on the terms of your compromise agreement.
